A state-licensed, Missouri-compliant pathway to becoming a professional tattoo artist. Built for serious applicants who intend to work — not hobbyists, not weekend students. THE PROGRAM • 100 in-depth online lessons across 10 structured modules • Comprehensive internal exam (80% required to advance) • 50 supervised in-studio procedures on real clients • Documented hour log compliant with Missouri 20 CSR 2267 • State-filed Registration of Supervisory Relationship under Missouri License #2014042818 • Direct mentorship by a licensed Missouri tattoo artist throughout EARN WHILE YOU TRAIN Your 50 supervised procedures are paid client work. Apprentices charge a minimum of $100 per procedure. The split is 60% to the artist (apprentice), 40% to the shop. Tips are 100% to the artist. Minimum earnings during the in-studio phase: $3,000 — recovered before licensure. TUITION: $5,000 TOTAL Paid in two installments: • Payment 1 — $2,500 due at enrollment (unlocks online coursework) • Payment 2 — $2,500 due before studio access (after 50% of online coursework completed and Bloodborne Pathogens certification earned) All apprenticeship payments are non-refundable. Narrow refund exceptions apply only in cases of documented access denial caused by Learn to Ink. See full refund policy on the Policies page. WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED Personal tattoo equipment is not included in tuition. A meticulously prepared tattoo supply list is provided after enrollment. Missouri's $100 state licensing fee is paid directly to the state and is not included. ACCESS Enrollment is selective and intentionally limited. Apply through the Apply page.
